The Vocal Mix of Answer42’s ‘Pink Houses’ remains one of my all-time favourite Anjunadeep tracks, and this double A-side follow-up brings more elegance and sophistication than even the aforementioned did to the record box. Of the two tracks, opener ‘Shoreline’ undoubtedly has more similarities with ‘Pink Houses’, a sleek, groovy progressive houser that bubbles away nicely and has a very summery vibe to it. ‘Tucano’ is, quite simply, sheer sonic bliss; effortlessly metronomic and easy-going at the same time, its rippling track breaks blend seamlessly with a floating vocal sample and cool piano house keys for a dreamy and truly refreshing summer sound. These are two tracks that were definitely made with the beach in mind.
