Discussion about Jon Carter - Acid House Reborn!
Nea
Apparently acid house is back. Well considering Josh Wink and Hardfloor were using manic 303s well into the late 90s, it hardly went away. This is a very good CD from Mixmag. Some good tracks, especially Bam Bam, LFO and Green Velvet, all perfectly mixed by Jon Carter. This CD shows off his masterful abilities on the decks and its very very difficult to tell where a mix starts and ends which I feel is always a good sign because it then becomes one long track instead of a set of tracks. In the magazine it actually says that at one point there are 4 tracks bubbling away in the mix. I'm not sure where abouts but there are a few occasions when I can make out 3 tracks.
