MC5 - Phun City, UK download free

Fairly diabolical sound quality, I'd only give it 3 out of 10 on the bootleg scale. Actually if you crank it loud and EQ it a bit it's not a complete write-off. The 5 sound on great form so pity this document of the only time the band played in the UK is so pitifully crude.Ddidn't Jeremy Beadle have something to do with organising this festival? And then when the 5 turned up they were told there was no money to pay them but they played anyway? If you're an MC5 completist then I suppose this release may have some value - it does have some good shots of the band on stage in the fold-out. But really - listen to any of their other recordings in preference to this distant and muddy effort.The MC5 in Worthing though!? Who'd a thunk it.
